SOLOvision

The SOLOvision is a fully operational thermal imaging camera with Virtual Reality Viewing Optics.

The lightweight and unique ergonomic design enables both "hands free" or "traditional hand held" operation.

It can be used as an independent unit held and viewed similarly to a pair of binoculars or as a unit which interfaces and seals against BA face masks, gas masks or helmet visors.

SOLOvision is a waterproof, vibration proof and can withstand flashover of 10000C for 10 seconds.

The image is picked up through a centrally mounted camera. Even in the thickest smoke with the face visor entirely covered, the image seen by the wearer remains undiminshed in quality.

- Weighs 700g.

- Lightest on the market

- Can withstand flashover of 10000C

- Raytheon micro bolometer sensor

- Up to eight hours operation with 2 x fully charged NiMH batteries

AC Hotstick

The AC Hot Stick provides warning of exposed high voltage AC from a safe distance.

The AC Hot Stick will give early audible and visual warning of the presence of AC voltages without

the need to contact the surface which carries the dangerous AC potential.

The AC Hot Stick will beep and an LED will flash
with an increasing rate as the unit is brought closer to the source.

The tool has found many applications especially with first responders,
fire, police and ambulances responding to vehicular accidents; with search and rescue operations in urban and rural settings as well as with clean up crews working on downed trees after wind and ice storms.

But also industrial user and anybody
else who may unknowingly be exposed to the dangers of electrical shock or electrocution will appreciate the AC Hot Stick.

While the instrument will not be able to “see” the AC voltage if
grounded metal shields or conductors surround the source fully and prevent the signal from emanating, floating grounds or incomplete shielding will be noticed quickly.

Its simple use, built-in
selftests, sturdy construction and small improvements made over time based on our customer comments have made the AC Hot Stick a safety tool, recognized and respected by many of its users.

Thin ice is a trap and every year hundreds of people fall into that trap.

Victims have only minutes to help themselves because hypothermia quickly impairs a victim's ability to hold on to ice. It makes him shiver violently and clouds his thinking. As the victim's core temperature drops, he experiences disorientation and he becomes dangerous to the rescuers. This all happens within minutes of entering the water! Get the very best equipment for ice and cold water rescues.

RESCUE ALIVE enables your rescuer to run over very thin ice by distributing his weight over a large surface or to paddle through open water to reach a victim quickly. The unit weighs 88 pounds and provides 600 pounds of flotation.

The unit is deployed by releasing one Velcro™ strap, which is then used to tether the modified paddle. Your rescuers stay out of the water; there is no need to crawl or swim to approach a victim.

Rescuers remain on top of the surface, working from the stable platform. The rescuer stays in control of the victim.

Philips, the leader in portable defibrillation technology¹, designed the HeartStart OnSite Defibrillator for the ordinary person in the extraordinary moment.

Available without a prescription, the OnSite is designed to be the easiest-to-use²,³and most reliable defibrillator available. Our innovative technology, based on extensive research and user feedback, has produced a defibrillator so easy to use that you can potentially save the life of a co-worker, friend, or anyone else stricken with sudden cardiac arrest.

Weighing just 3.3 lbs., this small and lightweight defibrillator can be easily carried to the patient's side. Using clear, natural voice instructions, the OnSite Defibrillator guides you through each step of defibrillation and CPR. Integrated SMART Pads placed on the patient’s bare skin transmit information to the defibrillator, which senses and adapts to your actions every step of the way. HeartStart OnSite includes proven Philips technologies for heart rhythm assessment (SMART Analysis) and defibrillation energy delivery (SMART Biphasic).

And like all HeartStart defibrillators, it can be used to treat adults, as well as infants and children.

Ready When Needed Between uses, the defibrillator performs daily, weekly, and monthly self-tests of its electrical components, subsystems, and battery to help ensure continued reliability and readiness.

A pads integrity test, which checks daily that the cartridge is properly installed and that the defibrillator pads are in working order, provides an additional level of assurance.

As long as the green “Ready” light on the defibrillator is blinking, the OnSite has passed its last self-test and you can be confidentthe HeartStart OnSite is ready for use. If a self-test finds that the defibrillator needs attention, the “Ready” light turns off and the defibrillator “chirps” to alert you.

Pressing the flashing blue “Information” button provides verbal guidance to help you identify and correct the situation. Easy to Use Using the HeartStart OnSite Defibrillator is simple.

Pulling the green handle activates the defibrillator and voice instructions. These instructions are paced to your actions, to help guide you through the entire process, from placing pads on the patient to delivering a defibrillation shock.

HeartStart OnSite determines if a heart rhythm is shockable: If a shock is indicated, the defibrillator directs you to press the flashing orange “Shock” button. Then, HeartStart OnSite delivers a dose of low-energy biphasic therapy, a highly effective defibrillation waveform that is also gentle to the heart.

If a shock is not indicated, the OnSite Defibrillator instructs you to assess the patient and to perform CPR when necessary. While performing CPR, the defibrillator's voice instructions can be activated to coach you on the frequency and depth of compressions.

HeartStart OnSite also reminds you to call emergency medical services (EMS). And, should EMS need a summary of care, it can be retrieved from the defibrillator's internal memory. An EMS provider simply presses the “i-button” and HeartStart OnSite verbally recounts events from its last clinical use.

Philips, Leading the Way The HeartStart OnSite Defibrillator is the first defibrillator available for commercial and institutional users without a prescription. As the leader in innovative defibrillation technology, Philips is committed to making defibrillators more widely available so that more lives can be saved.

Now with over-the-counter status, Philips is making it easier for companies and organizations to institute early defibrillation programs.

Defibrillators are just one aspect of a well-planned resuscitation program. Philips recommends medical oversight of early defibrillation programs by a physician or other authorized medical practitioner.

To support customers' implementation efforts, Philips offers HeartStart Essentials, a suite of comprehensive products and services designed to help you deploy a successful defibrillation program - from planning and medical direction, to training and post-sales support.
