Primary Dispatch for the Charlestown Fire District is through the Public Safety Dispatchers employed by the Town Of Charlestown.
Current agreement is based on extension of contract with the Town.
The Charlestown Fire District pays the Town for a portion of the Dispatchers budgeted salary line and receives a portion of their services.

The Charlestown Fire District is part of the Southern Firemen's League/ Radio Communications System.
This is a "mutually agreed to arrangement" using Shared Radio Towers, Shared Radio Frequencies and Shared Radio Repeaters (Fixed & Vehicle) to enhance radio communications within the locality and when responding to assist as Mutual Aid.
